Premier Wrestling Raises 44,000L$ for Relay For Life in Second Life

The Premier Wrestling community recently came together in an incredible show of support, compassion, and remembrance—raising 44,000 Linden Dollars for Relay For Life. But this event was about far more than fundraising. It was about honoring loved ones, celebrating survivors, and standing together in the fight against cancer.

For many of us on the team, cancer is deeply personal. Nearly everyone involved has been touched by it in some way—losing a friend, a parent, a family member, or fighting the battle ourselves as survivors.

At the heart of our story is someone very special.

Remembering Julian

Many years ago in Second Life, the founders of our team were fortunate enough to meet a man named Julian. Julian was the embodiment of kindness, support, and love. Whether someone was struggling in real life or dealing with challenges in Second Life, Julian was always there—offering encouragement, checking in on friends, and reminding people they weren’t alone.

Julian was also a passionate supporter of Relay For Life. He was active on a team, walking many laps and dedicating his time to helping raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

When Julian was diagnosed with cancer, it never stopped him from caring about others. Even while facing his own fight, he continued asking how we were doing and trying to support the people around him.

He fought bravely, but eventually lost his battle with cancer. His passing left many of us feeling lost.

But we knew we wanted to do something meaningful to honor his memory.

Becoming Jules’ Gems

A few of us decided to start a Relay For Life team dedicated to Julian.

We joked that if we named the team directly after him, he would probably haunt us—because Julian never wanted the spotlight. He was humble and always preferred lifting others up instead.

Those closest to him affectionately called him Jules.

So our team became Jules’ Gems.

Through this team, we continue to carry Julian’s spirit forward—raising funds, spreading awareness, and supporting the Relay For Life mission.

We raise money to:

• Celebrate those who have won their battle

• Remember those we have lost

• Support those currently fighting

• Fund research so that one day no one facing cancer is told their symptoms are “normal” or dismissed.

Julian’s memory lives on in every step we take.

A Community United

Raising 44,000L$ is an incredible milestone, but the true achievement lies in the community that came together to make it happen. Friends, fans, and supporters across Second Life gathered to honor loved ones, celebrate survivors, and continue the fight against cancer.

For Premier Wrestling and Jules’ Gems, this is more than just an event—it’s a promise that Julian’s kindness, generosity, and spirit will continue to inspire us for years to come.

And together, step by step, we walk toward a future without cancer.
