Three people in dark suits and sunglasses sit at a wooden table with a statue in the background. A woman with purple hair stands confidently.

The Undisputed Championship didn’t just disappear—it walked out, and showed up on AVW programming without written or legal consent from its former owner, Vince. What followed was a courtroom clash that spilled far beyond the ring ropes and into the world of contracts, trademarks, and title lineage.

How We Got Here

The controversy started after: instead of returning the belt to Premier custody between bookings, it appeared on AVW (All Victory Wrestling) and “The Undisputed Championship,” the physical belt and the Premier name clearly seen on the belt. Vince, who established and previously owned Premier Wrestling, argued that the title and its marks are Premier property and that any cross-promotion must be negotiated in writing.

Within days, a complaint landed in court seeking injunctive relief: stop the use of the “Premier Wrestling Undisputed Championship” name and compel the return of the physical belt pending a full hearing.

Why We’re Doing It This Way

Championships aren’t just leather and metal; they’re trust. Fans invest in the idea that a title means something consistent from bell to bell, year to year. Protecting the belt’s identity protects your investment. We won’t let legal fog steal the shine from the division—or from the athletes who’ve earned their shots.

What’s Next

We’ll update you the moment the judge issues a decision. In the meantime, our next card is shaping up fast—and our last event was sold out with 110+ on the sim for the entire show, so grab your tickets early to avoid missing out.

No matter how the paperwork shakes out, the ring will decide the legacy. Stay tuned.
